AHHHHHHH I'M SUPER CONFUSED ABOUT SUBJECT SELECTIONS. :( I seriously went to the information night at 6pm today convinced that I was only sure about 3 subjects - Maths, English, and Hospitality. I was so sure that I was no way on earth interested in any other subjects (except thinking of cafs too). Now that I'm back from information night my mind is fucking MIND BOGGLED. I somehow have been convinced that Legal studies is a possible subject choice. WTF? A few hours ago I was thinking that there is no way in hell that I would do that boring crap.

100% sure subjects:

- General Mathematics
- English Standard

90% sure subjects:

- CAFS - Community and Family Studies
- Hospitality (VET)
- Food Technology

Interested/thinking about subjects:

- Legal Studies
- Modern History
- Business Services (VET)

That's 16 units. So I should drop 2 subjects from the above list. Right now I have two VET courses in mind, but I am planning to only do one. So then therefore I should drop Business Services, right? As I am more interested in Hospitality. BUTTT, that means if I do Hospitality, I am also doing FOOD TECH. Isn't that a lil cray-cray? Doing 2 subjects based around cooking food? It's too much yeah... but both have their pros and cons. Let me point out pros.

Hospitality:

- Work experience at a restaurant for a week each year (how beneficial right? lol)
- Heaps of cooking/less theory
- Learn how to prepare food

Food Technology:

- Learn about NUTRITION/health information (how beneficial right?)
- Some cooking
- Learn about cleanliness of food, etc

There are cons too but I cbf to list. Hospitality is more about SERVICE in the work industry relating to food, and learning cooking TECHNIQUES, eg. different ways to stuff with different knives, etc. Food Technology is more about the SCIENCE of food, eg. Why does food burn and turn black after cooking too long? etc.

Ugh, I dunno. I like a bit of both. Should I do both? Should I????I think I'm going to...
